Miri Neufeld (Israel)

Miri Neufeld received her MD at the Tel-Aviv University, Israel, and is a board-certified neurologist at the Tel-Aviv Medical Center.  She trained as a fellow in electroencephalography and electromyography at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota, USA, and is board-certified in the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society. Dr. Neufeld is the Director of Epilepsy Unit and EEG Laboratory at the Tel-Aviv Medical Center. She is the past President of the Israeli League Against Epilepsy, an office that she has held in the years 2001- 2007. She is presently Clinical Professor of Neurology and the Head of Department of Neurology at the Medical School in Tel-Aviv University. Her research interests have focused on the effects of anti-epileptic drugs on the EEG recording, clinical epileptology, and epilepsy surgery.  She has participated in multinational multi-center drug trials, has authored book chapters, and has published a great many original articles in international publications.
